The All Darts Association of Singapore (ADAS) successfully organised King of Darts Singapore – Series 1 on 20 February 2026 at the ADAS venue located at 449 Race Course Road, Singapore. The event marked the launch of a new steel tip darts competition designed to bring together players from across the Singapore darts community.
The event marked an exciting step in ADAS’s ongoing efforts to grow steel tip darts in Singapore, while providing players with more opportunities to participate in competitive matches within a welcoming community environment.
The Return of the King of Darts Series
The King of Darts event has historical roots within the local darts community. Previously, when the organisation operated under the name Soft Tip Darts Association of Singapore, the King of Darts competition was organised as a soft tip darts event for players in Singapore.
Following the transition of the organisation to the All Darts Association of Singapore (ADAS), the series has been revived with a renewed vision to broaden the scope of darts development in Singapore.
Under the current ADAS leadership, the King of Darts Series has been reintroduced as a steel tip darts competition, reflecting the increasing interest in steel tip play among local players.
The revival of this series represents ADAS’s commitment to supporting the growth of the sport while creating more opportunities for players to compete, improve, and connect with the wider darts community.
Bringing Together the Local Darts Community
The tournament featured 16 players, a format intentionally kept manageable to ensure matches could be completed within the evening while maintaining a competitive yet enjoyable playing experience.
Participants represented several darts groups within Singapore’s darts community, including:
- i-Darters
- Ace of Steel
- Good Vibes Team
The event created a lively and friendly atmosphere as players from different groups gathered to compete, connect, and enjoy the sport together.
Tournament Format
Matches were played in a 501 format, with the following structure:
Round Robin Stage
Best of 3 legs
Single Knockout Stage
Best of 3 legs
Final Match
Best of 5 legs
A total of four dartboards were used throughout the competition to ensure the smooth progression of matches during the event.
This format allowed players to compete in multiple matches while maintaining a fast-paced and engaging tournament environment.
Champion of King of Darts Singapore Series 1
After a series of competitive matches, Mark from i-Darters emerged as the Champion of ADAS King of Darts Series 1.
His consistent scoring and finishing throughout the evening secured him the top position in the inaugural event.
The competition showcased strong performances from all participants and highlighted the growing level of steel tip darts talent within the Singapore darts community.
Growing Steel Tip Darts in Singapore
The King of Darts Series forms part of ADAS’s broader initiative to:
- grow steel tip darts participation in Singapore
- provide competitive opportunities for players
- strengthen the local darts community
The strong participation and positive atmosphere during Series 1 demonstrated the enthusiasm among players for more organised steel tip darts competitions in Singapore.
ADAS looks forward to organising future editions of the King of Darts Series as the local darts scene continues to grow.
